Black basalt gravel, also known as black granite, is a contemporary looking decorative aggregate commonly used for driveways. The basalt chippings show as dark grey when dry and black when wet (see accompanying images). The stylish look of black basalt gravel also makes them a great choice for pathways, borders and water features, and are sure to enhance the appearance of many other garden projects.
